Eligibility
To be eligible the applicant (1) must faithfully attend a United Pentecostal Church International church in the FLorida District; (2) must complete and submit the Lois Mitchell AYC Scholarship Application; (3) must provide proof of acceptance on AYC mission trip from UPCI Youth Ministries (AYC); (4) The church the applicant attends must have given an offering to Move the Mission.
Application
Students desiring to be considered for financial assistance must submit this application by November 30. Also, the applicant must submit an essay of no more than 250 words describing why he/she wants to go on a mission trip.
Selection
We will review all applications; select the applicants to be awarded with the scholarships; and divide the allocated funds among the chosen students. Applicants will be selected based on the total number of applications, participation in Florida Youth events, support of MTM, and personal essay.
Selected Applicants will be notified in December.
This scholarship program
allocates funds each year to be awarded to students attending an Apostolic Youth Corps (AYC) mission trip hosted by UPCI Youth Ministries. The amount of funds allocated is subject to the approval of the Florida District Ladies Committee.
